TICKTACK PLATTEN is a label for new music outta Hamburg. It’s an experiment in rebuilding from the smoking wreckage of what used to be indiei>, turning its face toward the sun and stomping out onto trails nobody bothered to walk yet. Music Against Time is the rallying cry; part pissed-off glance backward, part fresh headwind from disasters yet to come. TICKTACK PLATTEN is a new offshoot of Sozialistischer Plattenbau — a new coat of paint for the great escape under the old pale moon.
